Since joining Ryan, Swanson and Cleveland in 1990 as a litigation paralegal, Anne has continued to use her extensive trial experience in helping to efficiently retrieve and organize case documents, coordinate the design of document databases, perform medical and technical research, review and analyze medical records, identify expert witnesses and attend trial. She is proficient in researching multiple public document databases for asset searches, corporate and business information, and locator services.
Anne has worked as a paralegal for over 30 years. She gained extensive trial experience working in Washington D.C. as the lead plaintiff trial paralegal for seven years on a major antitrust suit involving the country’s biggest dairy cooperatives. She then became the lead defense trial paralegal for an international personal injury air crash case involving over 300 victims of the crash of a C5A cargo plane during “Operation Babylift,” a rescue operation mounted by the U.S. during the fall of Saigon, Vietnam, in 1975.
After her move to Seattle, Anne served as a trial consultant to plaintiff attorneys nationwide in toxic tort, products liability, and medical malpractice matters involving Three Mile Island, Missouri Dioxin, Dalkon Shield litigation and numerous medical malpractice cases. In this position, she developed an expertise in medical record analysis and selection of expert witnesses.
