Redevelopment of the 2.8-acre publicly-owned Mercer Mega Block in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood, to include a life sciences campus, a community center and an affordable housing tower.
Ryan Swanson assisted the City of Seattle’s Department of Transportation in negotiating a comprehensive Disposition and Development Agreement to sell and redevelop the “Mercer Mega Block” in downtown Seattle into a mixed-use project including two office/life science towers separated by a public promenade, the development of a substantial affordable housing component and a rent-free community center to be operated by the City’s Parks Department.
