Eli is an Associate at Ryan Swanson, working primarily in the firm’s Business practice group.
While in law school, Eli worked at the Washington College of Law Intellectual Property Clinic as a student attorney where he represented nonprofits, wrote an Errors and Omissions letter on behalf of an Oscar-winning documentarian, as well as researched and filed trademark applications for clients. Eli graduated from American University in 2020 with both an M.B.A. and J.D., where he served as Note and Comment Editor for the Business Law Review, Vice President of the Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Law Society, and JD/MBA student ambassador. He then received his LL.M. in Taxation at New York University School of Law in May 2021.
Eli was born and raised in Seattle. He is an avid sports fan and is especially excited about the arrival of the Seattle Kraken. Eli considers himself a lifelong learner and enjoys reading about a variety of topics. His decision to obtain an M.B.A. and Tax LL.M. was driven by the desire to better understand the legal and business issues corporate clients face.
