Joanna began working in the field of immigration more than 20 years ago, as a paralegal. Since then, she has prepared family and employment-based applications and drafted numerous letters of support for private sector clients, as well as serving more than five years in the federal government as an asylum officer, administrative appeals officer, and senior adjudications officer. Most recently, she worked at the Seattle Field Office of USCIS as an adjudications officer and Special Emphasis Program Manager, managing events and observances related to diversity and inclusion.
