Maddy is an associate at Ryan Swanson, working primarily in the firm’s Immigration and Litigation groups.
Before joining the firm full time, Maddy worked as a summer associate at Ryan Swanson in 2025 while completing her law degree at the University of Washington. During law school, she served as an Articles Editor on the Washington Law Review and worked in the Regulatory Environmental Law and Policy Clinic, focusing on water permitting compliance. She also worked as a Health Law Hazelton Fellow, was a Women’s Law Caucus Member, and interned at the University of Washington Division of the Attorney General’s Office.
Maddy was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. After four years of college in California, she is happy to be back in the PNW. Outside of work, Maddy enjoys hiking, reading, and trying new restaurants.
