Pamela L. Derck

Pam is a paralegal with Ryan Swanson’s Immigration group, where she prepares marriage-based and employment-based green card applications, as well as temporary work visas for specialty occupations (H-1B). She is excited to learn more about other immigration matters, particularly naturalization. Prior to joining Ryan Swanson, she was a research consultant at an international think tank and English teacher in Shenzhen, China.

Background

Pam first took an interest in immigration upon returning from China to start graduate school. Many of her coworkers and classmates were international students or were on work visas. Seeing so many of her friends struggling to stay in the United States piqued her interest in the area.

When Pam is not helping her clients prepare visa and green card applications, she disappears into the mountains to go hiking, camping, rock climbing, or snowboarding.
