Samantha is paralegal with Ryan Swanson’s Immigration group, where she prepares a wide variety of employment-based and family-based immigration petitions such as temporary work visas (E-1/2, E-3, H-1B, L-1A/B, TN), U.S. permanents resident status, labor certification (PERM) and citizenship applications to filed with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassies, and other government agencies.
Prior to joining Ryan Swanson, Samantha was a paralegal with over seven years of experience working in both large and small firms and for a nonprofit corporation. She was a paralegal consultant working for clients in the immigration, corporate, and nonprofit legal fields. She has experience as a corporate paralegal, but the majority of her experience has been in immigration.
Samantha was born and raised in Chicago. She and her family relocated to the small town of Hood River, Oregon, where she and her father are avid windsurfers. Samantha enjoys both the big city life, including going to operas, ballets, museums, and sporting events (she is so excited that the NHL has expanded to Seattle), while also enjoying the escape to small town life. While adventures have taken Samantha all over the world, she has enjoyed relocating to Seattle to be closer to her family.
