Zach is an Associate at Ryan Swanson working in the Corporate Bankruptcy, Receivership & Finance group, where he represents creditors and debtors in bankruptcy cases, out-of-court workouts, and other insolvency related matters.
Before joining Ryan Swanson, Zach served for 2 years as the law clerk for the Honorable Marc Barreca, Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington. Zach also worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court as a judicial extern during law school. Also, while in law school, Zach received several academic awards, including the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Evidence, Bankruptcy, Pretrial Advocacy, and the Advanced Writing Seminar. Prior to law school, Zach served in the United States Army as an NCO in the 75th Ranger Regiment. Zach’s experience in the military taught him the importance of service, teamwork and attention to detail, which are skills Zach uses to better serve his clients.
Originally from New York, Zach moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2014. In his free time, Zach enjoys playing tennis, traveling, and following his favorite hockey team – the New York Islanders.
