Mercer Mega Block

Between Aurora Avenue and Ninth Avenue in South Lake Union

Project Description

Redevelopment of the 2.8-acre publicly-owned Mercer Mega Block in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood, to include a life sciences campus, a community center and an affordable housing tower.

 

Our Role

Ryan Swanson assisted the City of Seattle’s Department of Transportation on negotiating an agreement to sell and redevelop the “Mercer Mega Block” in downtown Seattle into a mixed-use project including the development of a substantial affordable housing component and a rent-free community center to be operated by the City’s Parks Department.
