USCIS to Increase Premium Processing Fees

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security issued a final rule raising premium processing fees (Form I-907) to account for inflation over the last two-year period. These changes take effect March 1, 2026, and affect employment- and student-related categories.

Updated Premium Processing Fees (Form I-907):

$2,965 – Most Form I-129 petitions (including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, P) and Form I-140
$1,780 – Certain Form I-129 classifications (including H-2B and R-1) and Form I-765 eligible for premium processing
$2,075 – Form I-539 (change or extension of status for F-1, J-1, or M-1)

USCIS will reject premium processing requests filed on or after March 1, 2026, if the incorrect fee is submitted
