Foreign nationals entering the U.S. through several major airports and land ports of entry will not receive an entry stamp in their passports to show their status and validity period. Foreign nationals will need to confirm they have been admitted in the correct visa category and the correct period of time using CBP’s I-94 website:  https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/.

This change highlights the importance of checking one’s I-94 after each admission following international travel, as errors can often occur. We recommend retaining alternative proof of travel, such as email confirmation of trips, that can be used if the CBP I-94 and/or travel history are not updated correctly. Requests to correct an entry record need to be made with the CBP Deferred Inspection Unit.

• Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW)
• Dublin Airport (DUB)
• Houston (George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH))
• Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
• Montréal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
• New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK))
• Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
• San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
• Seattle-Tacoma International Airport-SeaTac (SEA)
• Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
• Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD)
