Gretchen is Of Counsel in the firm’s Litigation practice group.

Gretchen is a seasoned appellate attorney with success in all divisions of the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit. Gretchen is also a skilled litigator and knowledgeable trial lawyer dedicated to representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, employment disputes, corporate negligence and medical malpractice defense.  Her extensive courtroom experience includes trying several cases to jury verdict.

Hobbies & Interests

Gretchen grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon and relocated to Washington in 2006 for undergrad and law school. While attending law school, Gretchen was a Lead Article Editor for the SU Law Review and served as a judicial extern for Judge Leighton in the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington in Tacoma. She has served as an adjunct professor teaching legal skills courses at Seattle University School of Law.

Gretchen is a life-long sports fan, a committed Mariners supporter, and a Seahawks season ticket holder. During college, she played fast-pitch softball and earned several honors, including being named an All-American infielder, PLU Woman of the Year in Sports, Academic All-American, and Northwest Conference Player of the Year in her sophomore and junior seasons. Gretchen and her husband live in Snoqualmie with their three children and spend most weekends enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest while backpacking, biking or golfing.
