On January 31, 2020, USCIS published a new version of Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification (Rev. 10/21/2019), effective immediately. The new version contains minor changes to the I-9 form and instructions. Employers should begin using the updated I-9 form as of January 31, 2020, and will be required to use the new I-9 form as of April 30, 2020. Please reference the USCIS Form I-9 page for the most recent edition.
