BREAKING NEWS: In response to the Omicron variant, the Biden Administration has announced that all international travelers to the U.S. must present a negative COVID test taken within one day of their travel to the U.S., regardless of vaccination status or nationality. In addition, a presidential proclamation prohibits the immigrant and nonimmigrant entry of foreign nationals who have been physically present in the following Southern African countries within 14 days of their travel to the U.S., unless exempt: Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Foreign nationals, U.S. citizens and permanent residents hoping to travel internationally and return to the U.S. this holiday season will need to be sure to present a negative COVID test taken within one day of their travel to the U.S.
