SEATTLE (December 10, 2025) – Seattle-based law firm Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland, PLLC elected Jeng-Ya Chen, Christopher R. Conley & Gretchen J. Hoog to the firm’s membership, effective January 1, 2025.

Previously an Associate, Jeng-Ya (Jen) joined the firm in 2017. She manages a broad spectrum of temporary work visas and provides support for employment-based green card applications, including PERM labor certifications and immigrant petitions for individuals with extraordinary ability or advanced degrees seeking national interest waivers.
Previously an Associate, Chris relocated to Seattle from Georgia in 2021, where he had been practicing law since 2017. His complex litigation practice includes representing clients in trial, appellate, and supreme courts and handling various arbitration matters.
Previously an Of Counsel, Gretchen’s litigation practice focuses on commercial disputes, trust and estate litigation, and appellate advocacy. She represents businesses and individuals in complex matters, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, professional negligence, and fiduciary litigation, while also serving as national counsel and achieving success at all levels of state and federal appeals. Gretchen joined the firm in 2023.
