SEATTLE (December 12, 2018) – Ryan Swanson elected Shannon J. Lawless and Marsha T. Mavunkel to the membership of the firm, effective January 1, 2019.

Previously an Associate with the firm, Shannon has been a member of the firm’s Employment Rights, Benefits & Labor Group, where her practice focuses on representing employers. Outside of employment law, she devotes a portion of her practice to general commercial litigation. Shannon previously served as Board President of Washington Women Lawyers in 2015 and 2016. She graduated from Willamette University in 2007, and received her degree of Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School Of Law in 2010.
Previously an Associate with the firm, Marsha serves as Chair of the firm’s Immigration Group and focuses her practice exclusively in the area of U.S. Immigration and Naturalization law. She advises clients on family and employment-based U.S. immigration law, and assists both corporate and individual clients with all aspects of the immigration process. Marsha graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2004, and received her degree of Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2009.
