SEATTLE (September 11, 2023) – Seattle-based law firm Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland, PLLC announces Zachary Schroeder and Haley Westman have joined the firm as associates.

Schroeder and Westman each worked as a summer associate with Ryan Swanson in 2022.

Schroeder received his J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law, his M.B.A. from the University of Arizona and his B.S. from the United States Military Academy, West Point. While in law school, he served as a law clerk in the Licensing and Administration Division within the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. Prior to his legal career, Schroeder served in the United States Army, where he held various roles, including Platoon Leader, Commander of Headquarters Company, and Chief of Current Operations for the Army Public Health Center.

Westman received her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Puget Sound. Prior to Ryan Swanson, She served as the Executive Research and Training Editor of the Seattle University Law Review and the President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Westman was also a student attorney at the Seattle University Civil Rights Clinic and a summer law clerk at the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. Additionally, she was the recipient of six CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Constitutional Law, Business Entities, Property Law, Employment Discrimination, Legal Writing, Skills, and Values, and Persuasive Writing and Oral Advocacy.
