Recent Changes Make Entry Into The U.S. Easier For International Travelers

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (“USCBP”) recently made two enhancements to its system that we think you should be aware of:

Travelers into the U.S. can apply and pay for a provisional Form I-94 online prior to arriving at a land Port of Entry which will expedite entry. The traveler provides their biographic and travel information and pays the $6 fee online up to 7 days prior to entry. If the traveler does not enter within 7 days, they have to reapply and pay another $6. For more details, visit https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov.

The new USCBP I-94 website includes a more complete travel history for the last five years.
