H-1B Cap Initial Registration Period Opens March 1st

On January 28, 2022, USCIS announced that the initial registration period for FY2023 H-1B cap will open at noon (ET) on March 1, 2022, and run through noon (ET) on March 18, 2022. During this time period, prospective H-1B cap-subject employers will be required to use a myUSCIS online account to electronically submit the H-1B lottery registration for each beneficiary for the selection process, and will be required to pay a $10 H-1B registration fee for each registration submitted. Once the lottery selections are complete, USCIS will notify account holders by March 31st. Historically, the H-1B cap filing period for cases selected in the registration lottery is April 1st-June 30th.
