SEATTLE (March 15, 2022) – Seattle-based law firm Ryan, Swanson & Cleveland announced the hiring of Abtin Bahador an associate in the firm’s Immigration group.
Abtin advises employers and beneficiaries on issues such as travel, visa renewals, short and long-term strategies, and compliance with federal laws. He has prepared petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability and multinational managers (EB-1), as well as navigating all stages of the PERM Labor Certification process (EB-2 and EB-3) from initial analysis, recruitment, filing, and audit response for professional, non-professional, and Schedule A positions. He also has extensive knowledge in preparing non-immigrant applications for adjudication with USCIS, CBP, and consulates.
Prior to joining Ryan Swanson, Abtin spent 5 years at a business immigration firm serving technology companies, Fortune 500 companies, and one of the largest healthcare providers in the U.S.
Abtin graduated from the University of Victoria in 2008 and received his Juris Doctor from the Seattle University School of Law in 2014. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and currently holds a number of board positions with the AILA Washington Chapter.
